'Buried Temples'
Bangkok is a city of contrasts. Whereas Prague or Venice have great beauty in a consistency of urban
aesthetic and fine materials, Bangkok's rudderless jumble of pseudo-styles of yesteryear,Bangkok
can gain by the juxtopositions of monstrous insensitivity, and the dramatic clash of  ancient and
modern cultures and needs. post-teakwood  and  time and culture shocks. In exploring various
neighbourhoods I discovered  temples dwarfed by sky-scrapers, The beauty of the unlikely shock of
architectures inspired the 'Buried Temple Series' in which I searched for these downtown 'buried'
temples
